R-E-L-A-X : It's impossible to create an experience for your customer that is relaxed, if you are not! Have casual confidence and let the customer prove to you they are a buyer, instead of you trying to prove they should buy.
"Casually Confident" is a winning strategy the flies directly in the face of the over-hyped management that holds sway in many of today's dealerships. Truly, if you can positively execute on it, you'll have a better chance of mastering the balancing act necessary to build a successful auto sales career, regardless of your relationship (or lack there of) with your dealer's ownership.
