All good questions Ralph!  Some dealers just don't get it.  It's a wonder this one has managed to stay in business.

The bad phone number thing, we find this all the time when doing mystery shops. We also find a lot of bad submission forms on dealers websites that don't work or are not feeding the leads to the CRM.  We had one the other day and when the dealer investigated they found 50 leads they had not replied to over a couple months.

I wonder how many dealer phone numbers published around the web are no longer valid? If its a sales listed phone number, why do I have to "Press 1 for Sales"? Nobody is allowed to speak on the phone abut advertised specials? "We're not Ford, sir..." Huh? Since when did being argumentative over the phone become acceptable? If the specials are advertised to the public, why can't the salesperson talk about what is publicly visible?
