A.J. that could be the issue and the other possibility is that the bug skipped some dealers.  In any case, dealers on this site should send a link to this video to everyone in their 20 Groups today.

Casey Pilgrim I didn't have any problem and I have both the CLLC (OEM) site and a retail site with DDC? This could be because I made some updates this week which may have overridden them? Brian?

Thanks BP for the crystal clear explanation! Dealers need to listen to your suggestions.

This is an excellent update. Many thanks Brian. It impacts dealers and vendors, directly and indirectly. Am going to RT -- this is a most infomative walk-through.

Here are the two links to submit problems to the Google Places team regarding your listing:

For incorrect information (or other issues) on any external listing, please visit this troubleshooter:http://www.google.com/support/places/bin/static.py?page=ts.cs&t...

For difficulties verifying a listing (either via PIN or bulk verification), please visit this troubleshooter:http://www.google.com/support/places/bin/static.py?page=ts.cs&t...

These linked should help start a process of resolution, according to the Google Jumpstart Automotive Team.

The Google Places team came out to the Digital Marketing Strategies Conference in February, and we hope to have them back for the Automotive Boot Camp since the attendees go so much help from them face to face.

Great use of social media to share very important information for dealers.  Nice job Brian.

This affected Chrysler dealers, as well.  I think that should be pointed out, also.  This wasn't just a GM update.  For Chrysler dealers with multiple websites, those listings were also updated to where the Dealer.com sites were displayed.  So it has been the same process in that channel, as well, except with DDC websites instead of ADP Cobalt websites.
