Thank you, Nancy. I appreciate you! Just as Early Adaptors stand in line for the newest IPad and IPhone, so will businesses and business "Doers" all too soon. I expect this next year will be the Early Adaptor phase of the "new" business model for our industry. By the end of year two, we'll not likely recognize what we've left behind to meet the customers and the market where they reside. Very enlightening, energized times we are in right now; most especially for those Early Adaptor "Doers" that will stake a huge stake for the business they represent; huge!
Tom...As the great, Bob Dylan said...Times...they are a changin' ...The consumers have changed....we have not adapted...not even close! We don't know how to inspire employees to greatness (employee retention) nor do we know how to meet the demands of the consumer driven economy, (customer retention, loyalty)... Love this video, as I do all of your work! Very powerful message in an easy to comprehend format!
Bobby: His words: "Do Not Be Afraid" pertain perfectly here. Those with faith lead without fear. After all, failure to those with faith is a learning experience to keep getting it correct; correct?
OHHHHHH>>>>>>YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Bobby; faith always matters most!
Thank you, Troy! Thank you Marsh! Thank you Jason! Thank you Ernie! Are we in the "retail" business or the "relating" business? Retail establishments with their core business centered on "SELL" that person in front of me, or just be a clerk and check me out, will destroy themselves in this Convergent Marketing world we've now entered.
As a child my mother taught me well the difference between "Pull/Push" and "Push/Pull, every time my mouth got the worst of me. She'd say: "Be nice to everyone and perhaps 2 or 3 of them will say something nice about you to others. Be nasty to just one, and just that one will likely tell 250 how bad I am. Now, which would you prefer?" That was far more powerful a lesson than the hair brush to my butt! And, it sunk in and has served me well.
We simply cannot afford to risk our retail industry for the sake of a great history of retail sales and a poor history of retention. FACT: the fastest growing, and now most powerful Automotive Aftermarket now outnumbers our franchised industry 7 to 1 --- and growing in that variance daily. We cannot survive with simply a Variable operations department; not going to happen.
We truly need all of us standing together defending our franchise dealership industry rights to survive and thrive by converting to what customers have been waiting for, but now demand. Yes?
Well said and thought provoking to be sure. Fill the void!
Great video!
