Great feedback on the video!   While credits reports have their place in the hiring process it is critical that employers understand the risks and the state and federal regulations.  Additional HR compliance information and best practice on workforce management can be found at www.kpaonline.com

When evaluating employees it is important to consider most factors of past business discipline, however credit reports can turn off the value you may see in an innovative prospective employee. With chronic unstable economy in the United States over the past few years, almost everyone has been impacted by some lack of financial resources as result. Very Interesting legisaltion.

This is good information to know.  Business owners need to be ahead of these types of waves.  My personal experience shows that job performance and credit scores often times do go hand-in-hand.  Does good credit mean good employee 100% of the time?  The answer is no in my opinion.  However,  there isn't a test or interview that will be 100% accurrate.

We have never used credit reports during our hiring process, but I always thought it would be a good idea.  Sounds like we never will based on this.  Good information!
