What a great guy! I met Joe in 1974. I had just started in the car business. He said something to me and the group that were around him that has stuck with me for my entire career in the business. He said " Remember, the elevator to success is broken. You have to use the stairs, One step at a time" To me that is the biggest key to this business! Don't take shortcuts, those stairs hurt when you fall back down. I still have his card and it says that on his card.
