I'm looking for expert advise on how to begin buying microsites and how to manage them properly to maximize SEO. Also, we pay for basic SEO but wanted to know the benefits/success stories of dealers paying for advanced SEO based on keywords that drive the most traffic to their website. We are a Nissan dealer in SC with a lot of success with SEM/SEO/retargeting/branding but have not yet started our Microsite/advanced SEO strategies. What are the best companies that offer support in these two categories? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I think that I can throw some thoughts at the group. We eat, breathe, and sleep (very little though) SEO. TK Carsites has been in business for the last 9 years with this as their key focus. SEO has been significantly hampered by the latest Major (penguin) update to Google which cuts off most of the easier ways to do SEO and get adequate results. We have been totally unaffected by this because we do SEO in a totally different way. I suggest you check out Top Dealer SEO to see the whole story. Rather than boast about how great we are, we suggest you (and anyone) utilize a free tool provided by HubSpot. It is called Marketing Grader and here one may enter any website to get an overview of how well they are positioned to achieve success through online marketing.
While you may not understand all of the components being measured in the report, most people can understand that when being scored out of 100 anything below an 80 is not very good if success is the desired result.
Another suggestion we make in addition to measuring both yourself and your competition is to measure your vendors! After all, if an SEO company doesn't have very good SEO themselves, what is the likely hood they will provide good seo for you? This report measures not only SEO, but a vast number of other indicators.

I can't imagine why a dealer would pay extra money for a VSEO service. This should be included with any SEO service.
