Can you believe the year is coming to a end? Why is it that we as sales professionals take this time of the year to rationalize business slow downs? I do understand, and have often saved my vacation and down time for the this time of the year. But two month's of downtime? How many times have we told our sales persons that if they take care of everydays business the month will take care of itsself? Couldn't we say the same about November and December? Yes people do indeed take time off before both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Haven't we all seen very busy days, i.e. Black Friday, people shopping for Christmas gifts, and business's rushing to spend their budgets (use it or lose it)? Granted things may be a little slower currently than they have been in past years. Once again, how many of us have told our sales staff about not getting into bad habits that things will turn around?
I was just wondering?

this is the time of year to mine your customer base, lease lists and service lanes. I have traditionally had great winters by concentrating on these basics and bringing in previous customers to keep numbers up.
