We have heard many times over, the final mental decision making process is triggered by emotion!  Love is a word today that is overused, misused, and abused, but definitely used in many levels of connotations!

Many years ago, New York City very effectively and successfully branded themselves with "I Love (heart) NewYork"!  Another example...Everytime I take a suit jacket off its hanger, just back from the dry cleaners, I am reminded that my ABC drycleaner (hearts) their customers!  I look at that and my crispy pressed suit and think..."I love my drycleaners!"  We often read CSI comments, reviews on our web-sites and countless testimonials from our clients which say, "I love my salesperson", "I love MY dealership!" or "I love the folks in the Service Department at XYZ Motors!".  People are more likely to buy from someone they first "like", then learn to respect, and finally trust!  Now even most importantly, they will continue to do business with you in fixed operations, make repeat purchases, and refer friends and family if they "Love" you!  You know I do not mean this is the romantic sense of the word, or how you would love your spouse and children, but I do mean Love in this professional sort of way, in a sense of true commitment, to the point they would feel guilt or betrayal for engaging in a business relationship with one of your competitors!  Now, in order for your clients to grow to LOVE you and your dealership, you must show them the genuine kindness, care, and concern they are looking for and don't be phony about it!

There are many ways you can treat your customers with that type of consideration.  How do you and the folks at your dealership make your customers fall "in love" with you?  Would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on this!  Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!!!

The sales people that can transmit this in there face, talk, body language, product knowledge, with true honesty from the heart will win the sale as well as the heart and sole of the customer forever. If only all dealershops and all personel would do this.  Everyone would not only want to purchase there but there would be a long line to work there with no turn over!!
Thanks Rick for your reply!!  Most people who enter the sales profession really do genuinely care about people..They are social beings and would rather work in a relationship style industry than pushing paper or operating machinery!  Conveying their authentic care and concern is the real secret!  Thanks for your views on this...You are right...clients and staff alike would benefit!!!
