Multi-Award Winning Motor Dealer, innovation, ideas and cutting edge concepts man Drew Spink is now a member of the Dealer Elite Group.
Drew is one of the very few South African dealers in the group and shares his perspectives on the developing markets with group member regularly. I Invite fellow group members and automotive professionals to connect with me.
I would like to introduce myself to the group and share a little about my career and experience in the automotive business.
Drew Spink is an innovator and award winning motor dealer that hails from the sunny shores of Cape Town South Africa.
I have always believed in innovation and I pioneered many industry firsts in South Africa including the first successful on-line auction for the automotive industry.
Creativity in business and staying one step ahead of the game is vital and a personal ethos for me.
The man that can see tomorrow today always has an edge in life and business.
I have worked and trained at the Mercedes-Benz factory in East London and furthered my career at the very well known Mercedes-Benz flagship dealership based near the world famous Victoria and Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town.
I am now based in the South Africa I am proud and privileged to be home in the rainbow nation and look forward to acting as an ambassador and gateway to companies and professionals looking for representation or consultation in Africa.
I often act as a bridge between European,American,Chinese and automotive companies looking to enter the markets here in South Africa.
Most recently I took a role I would not normally have considered as a senior sales business 2 business consultant some of the reasons I took on this journey are detailed bellow.
“Going back to the sales floor has been an eye opening and inspirational experience for me I am now empowered with a full arsenal of ideas a digital sales briefcase and a modern strategy.
I believe greatly in continual professional development learning for me is a journey so enjoy the road.
The hit television show Undercover Boss I believe is a must for every senior person in a management role to experience in their business. A person learns so much you can prevent one of the most fatal downfalls in modern business which in my opinion is the detachment syndrome.
Building bridges between sales and management can be highly effective when knowledge and the physical experience is shared between the two.
I welcome all invites from this group please do visit my profile on linked in or read the article written about me in the Heart and Sole on line magazine powered by The Customers Shoes.

I love my profession and when I started my sales journey I wanted to make a career out of retailing motor cars as opposed to viewing it as just another job.
